Nodira Jumaniyozova, artist, poet, scholar, was born on June 10, 1974 in Kharezm region, Uzbekistan. She graduated from Urgench State University, faculty of biology. Worked as a teacher of biology at this university, then she came to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbkistan, and began to work at the institute of zoology. For many years, she has been participating in projects on the Aral Sea. Her poems and short stories were published in many newspapers and magazines. As a painter, she is well-known in Uzbekistan and abroad. She made her art-exhibition in Urgench and Tashkent. She is currently preparing for her exhibition, which will be held in Turkey this June.
